Polyester fiber is a kind of short fiber made of modified polyester slice by special process. It is a new anti-crack reinforced material specially developed for reinforced asphalt concrete. The fiber has strong anti-aging ability after anti-ultraviolet treatment, and has the characteristics of large fiber fineness, high strength and easy dispersion. Polyester fiber also has outstanding thermal stability, no embrittlement, no deformation and good compatibility with asphalt in the temperature environment of -40--220. When added to asphalt concrete, a huge number of fiber monofilaments can be formed by mixing, which can play the role of reinforcement and bridge, effectively improve the mechanical properties of asphalt mixture, and prevent the cracking of asphalt concrete.

Product Function

1、Polyester fiber plays the role of reinforcement, the fibers are distributed in a disorderly direction, and form a network winding on the mixture, which can effectively overcome the slip of aggregate and hinder the generation of cracks.

2、Polyester fiber plays the role of absorbing asphalt, because the specific surface area of the fiber is large, it can absorb the oil in the asphalt, increase its viscosity and adhesion.

3、Polyester fiber plays a stabilizing role, because fiber high temperature stability is strong, in the summer high temperature it can obviously prevent the flow of asphalt, asphalt plays a high temperature stability role.

4、Increasing viscosity, improve the bonding force, enhance the adhesion of asphalt and mineral materials, through the bonding of oil film, improve the bonding force between aggregates.

5、Polyester fiber plays a role in toughening and cracking resistance, because the fiber modulus value is high, the extension force is strong, has an effective stress distribution and cracking resistance function, and can effectively prevent low temperature brittle cracking.

Usage Method

Recommended dosage: 1kg-5kg/m³

Mixing process: Add aggregate → add fiber → dry mixing→ add asphalt,disperse the fibers completely.


Packaging Details

Inner packing 1- 5kg per PE bag,outer Packing 10-25kgs per plastic woven bag or carton,500kgs per pallet.
